5 months

These two angels are 5 months old today! It has gone so quickly. They are both doing really well. I can wish for better sleep but really what is that going to do. They will do what they want.

Jace is a talker! He talks from the time he gets up until he goes to bed. Corrie and I commented to each other that Summitt didn’t seem to talk as much but then we thought about it and she talks it is just Jace talks ALL.THE.TIME. They have both found their toes and it is so darn cute to watch Jace eat his. He also loves bath time. I am usually soaking wet by the time he is finished because he loves to kick non-stop the whole time he is in there.

Summitt is very observant. I love to watch her take in the world around her. Often times Jace will be fussing and she gives him a look of “what is your problem?!” It is super cute. She also loves to be held. She will be on a boppy and start fussing and when we go pick her up she gets the biggest smile. She is probably thinking SUCKERS!

Their brothers love them dearly. Watching the two older boys interact with them is heart warming. Just this morning when we were getting ready to leave the house Judge was kissing Summitt and saying I just want to hug her! He calls her his princess. He might be so loving when they are in his things and wanting to eat his Legos. But we can hope.

  1. Oh
My goodness. They keep getting cuter by the month. Summit looks like a living doll. They are two really good looking babies. I bet you get complimented often!! How is sleep going…what’s a typical sleep schedule for them. Are they in the same room with you? Are they sleeping together? I have mastered sleep training. Leo sleeps 11 hours at night, and has been since six months when we transitioned him to his nursery.

    • They sleep in their own room in separate cribs. They move around to much to put them together. They go down about 7:45. Some nights they only wake u ponce around 1:30 am or some nights like last they wake up at 10:30, 2:30 and 4. They don’t really have a pattern. When they were really little we would wake one when the other woke just for our own sanity but now we let them pretty much dictate because one usually sleeps better than the other on any given night.

  2. It was SO nice to finally meet Summitt & Jace last Friday!!! I would’ve loved to hold them, but my back just wouldn’t let me :(. They are so precious. Love the pictures & updates of Team Johnson….keep ’em coming!!!
